I can’t wait to go to Bucharest. I had a chance to talk to my Romanian friends Michael and Carmen and they told me about 1989. They were telling me about how they lived in a time where they had money but nothing to buy. In fact, they mentioned how they were intrigued by the amount of choices we have here in America, this was something which shocked them, coming from a place of nothing. I want to see how people live in Romania, I want to see what the effects have been.
